IT Business Analyst/Developer

Overview Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, The IT Business Analyst/Developer is responsible for application design, development, support and customization of the company's applications and proprietary software. As a key member of a collaborative IT team, this individual will help the business achieve improved performance by building and delivering solutions to improve productivity and accuracy and lower costs. Responsibilities o Develop and maintain an accurate understanding of Bruker OST's business practices and in-depth knowledge of the IT applications that support them. o Provide business support and systems maintenance to Bruker OST's production environments. o Define and document any new business requirements, needs, and processes. These applications include procurement, manufacturing, distributed order management and warehousing systems. o Assist in the testing, configuration, administration, validation, and training of Bruker OST's business solutions. o Leverages business analysis and application support skills in order to solicit, understand and translate business requirements into appropriate database and application development specifications. o Acts as the liaison between business personnel, vendor partners, and internal technical resources with regards to Bruker's business solutions. o Ensure adherence to global best practices and controls relating to Bruker OST's "Lean" Manufacturing Operations. o Provides second-level support and troubleshooting for system challenges and problems associated with "Lean" solutions and interfaces. o Ensures pertinent system user guides, and training documentation are complete, current, and stored appropriately. o Assists in the evaluation and prioritization of new enhancements and focuses on areas include procurement, manufacturing, distributed order management, warehousing, packaging, and distribution. Qualifications o Bachelor's Degree and or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field plus a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as Business Systems Analyst or similar capacity in a mid- to large-size manufacturing company. o Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interfaces with employees at all levels of the organization. o Familiarity and experience working with different vendor packages or applications focusing on procurement, manufacturing, distributed order management, warehouse management, packaging, and preferably SAP. o Capable of interacting and working well with both business personnel and technical resources. o Strong communication and organization skills. o Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment. o Significant experience as a Business Analyst/Developer, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to plan, prioritize and organize data. o Proven quantitative and analytical skills. o Demonstrated experience with analysing data and reporting against data sources using Crystal Reports, Excel queries and pivot tables and SQL queries o Proficiency in all MS Office products with special emphasis in Microsoft Project and Visio. o Broad experience in intelligence application development and usage(i.e. QlikSense) o Proven application development skills in JavaScript, Basic, Transact-SQL 2018-6847

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
