13 an hour Camp Counselor RWJ Rahway Fitness and Wellness Center at Carteret is currently seeking camp counselors.
These individuals will work under the supervision of the Camp Director.
Must love working with children as well as having an excellent character, integrity and adaptability.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the direction, organization and supervision of campers within their activities as well as throughout the camp Serve as a role model to campers in your attitude and behavior Must be able to be flexible and put the campers needs first Serve as an ambassador to the camp when interacting with parents as well as individuals in the community Follow all safety guidelines and procedures Report all incidents to the nurse as well as the director Communicate with the director regarding updates and concerns Requirements:
Lots of energy! Previous experience working with children, especially in a recreational setting Must be outgoing, dependable and reliable Possess strong computer and phone skills as well as exemplary customer service CPR Certified Must be able to work outdoors and participate in activities and games Job Type:
