As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees.
This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
Responsibilities - Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on site - Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or potential security threats - Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action as necessary - Enforce access control procedures, verifying identification and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering questions, and addressing concerns - Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of all security-related activities - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary Qualifications - Valid Security Officer certificate/license (SORA Card) - First Aid/CPR certification preferred - Proven experience in surveillance techniques and security procedures - Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure - Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment - Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security operations - Previous experience in law enforcement or military is a plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Please note that this position may require standing or walking for extended periods of time, as well as the ability to lift or move heavy objects if necessary.
