We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Distribution Center Manager to join our team.
This role will oversee all distribution operations, ensuring that all warehouse activities are running smoothly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing order processing, inventory management, and logistics, ensuring food safety standards and compliance are met at all times.
Responsibilities:
1.
Oversee and manage all distribution center operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
2.
Implement and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP systems, ensuring optimal utilization.
3.
Manage inventory, ensuring accurate record keeping and proper storage to maintain product quality.
4.
Oversee order processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order fulfillment.
5.
Develop and implement logistics plans and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
6.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations, implementing necessary measures to maintain hygiene and safety.
7.
Develop and manage relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring quality service delivery.
8.
Monitor and manage performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
9.
Train and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
10.
Stay updated with latest industry trends and advancements, implementing necessary changes to improve operations.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
2.
Minimum of 3
years of experience in a distribution center or logistics role.
3.
Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP systems.
4.
Proven experience in inventory management, order processing, and logistics.
5.
Knowledge and understanding of food safety standards and compliance regulations.
6.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
7.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
10.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
